These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of prep-in.com and the services provided by Shenzhen Prep-In Education Consulting Co., Ltd. ("Prep-In", "we"). By accessing the site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to submit information through our website. Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent before booking a consultation or purchasing services.
2. Services Offered
Prep-In provides educational consulting, including but not limited to: California Community College to UC transfer planning, academic mentorship, application essay coaching, interview preparation, and career advisory. Service scope, deliverables, fees and timeline for paid engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.
3. No Guarantee of Admission or Employment
While we share our historical track record (including a 100% TAG admit rate when academic conditions are met), educational outcomes depend on the student's own academic performance, decision-making and external factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee admission to any specific school, scholarship, or employment offer outside of formal contractual commitments such as TAG, which are administered by the universities themselves.
4. Honesty & Authentic Work
We do not write essays or applications on the student's behalf, and we do not use AI to generate personal statements. Students must produce their own authentic work; we provide guidance, feedback and editorial review. Submitting fraudulent or fabricated materials terminates the engagement immediately, with no refund.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, photographs, video — is owned by Prep-In or licensed to us, and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) submit false or misleading information; (b) attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of our website; (c) use the site for any unlawful purpose; (d) harvest data about other users.
7. Fees, Refunds & Cancellation
Initial consultations are free. Paid services are governed by individual service agreements that detail fees, payment schedule, refund policy and cancellation terms. Always read your service agreement carefully before signing.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Our website and free content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prep-In's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the website is limited to the fees paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prep-In, its founders and staff from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our services.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be submitted to the competent court in Nanshan District, Shenzhen.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version is always posted on this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
